Detecting Symptoms of Diabetes Child
In most cases, just like on adult diabetes, it may be really difficult to detect when your children have diabetes. The good news is, there are some diabetes child symptoms that can be recognized. Diabetes is a condition where the blood sugar level is higher then normal. And when the condition left undiagnosed it can bring several serious damages to their condition. You have to know that the quality of your child life can be huge affected by this disease. So it is very crucial to be able to recognize the child diabetes symptoms.
One of the most recognized children diabetes symptoms is frequent urination and extreme thirst. If a child has diabetes, the excess sugar level makes them extremely thirsty. Therefore they drink a considerable amount to compensate this condition. With all of the excess water they are taking in, they will then have to use the bathroom a lot more. Another diabetes child symptom is blurred vision. But, most kids do not realize that their vision is blurry. Diabetes can cause the vision to become blurry, however it is not a constant condition. That is why, this may be a tough symptom to detect. Your child may also feel some numbness or tingling in their hands and feet. Again, your child may do not aware of this symptom or not understand exactly what is going on.
In a child with diabetes, cuts and bruises may need some longer time to treat, than in a child without diabetes. In many cases, it is common to simply think that your child has a “bad” cut and it is taking longer to heal.
